Werner Paddle Shaft Features

	Neutral Bent Shaft Newer to the Werner line up is our Neutral Bent Shaft and Neutral Bent Shaft Small diameter. This unique and popular shaft is also manufactured in-house combining a proprietary new process with a blend of high quality carbon fiber or fiberglass and epoxy resin. The new process optimizes weight and strength for the varying demands of whitewater and touring. Living up to our "bomber" reputation our Neutral Bent Shaft is the strongest bent shaft for it's weight anywhere.

	Straight Shaft Legendary in the paddling community as the "bomber" shaft. These Werner straight shafts are constructed in house using a composite of fiberglass or carbon and epoxy resin. Werner is the only paddle company to manufacture it's own shaft in house, offering both Small and Standard diameter.

	STANDARD AND SMALL DIAMETER SHAFT Shaft size, or correctly stated, shaft diameter, not only matters but is very important in choosing a good fitting paddle. Hands come in different sizes and a shaft size that is properly fit allows a paddler to maintain a light grip, thus dramatically reducing fatigue while increasing comfort and control. For this reason Werner offers two shaft sizes (diameters), standard and small, in both straight and Neutral Bent shafts on our Performance, Premium and Recreational lines.
